EQUATR is not a record label. It is a curated pathway for artists to distribute their music with clarity, control, and purpose.

In partnership with Vydia, the digital arm of GAMMA, EQUATR offers artists access to the same infrastructure trusted by some of the world’s most respected music companies. Vydia powers the backend systems behind major distribution pipelines. The platform is robust and professional, and EQUATR exists to help artists make the most of its full potential through intentional setup, guidance, and support.

That is where EQUATR becomes essential. We work directly with artists to ensure the tools offered by Vydia are not just available, but fully optimized, simplified, and executed with intention.

My "Why"... EQUATR Exists

For a long time, I imagined myself running a successful record label. One centered on music and momentum, on instinct, not just information. But as the industry evolved, I watched labels grow leaner, more data-driven, and less connected to the feeling behind the art. Decision-making shifted from experience to algorithms. Many of the roles I had once aspired to no longer existed, or were filled by people who had never made music themselves.

I believed there might not be a place left for someone like me. But I was wrong.

Through a series of personal shifts and answered prayers, a new idea took shape. Not a label, but rather a doorway or a terminal. 

EQUATR is not built to gate-keep. It is built to guide.

There are brilliant artists with something real to offer, but no clear way to manage the many platforms that now define music distribution. Most creatives don't take the time to learn all the tools. The very tools that were not designed with them in mind. And even those who try are often overwhelmed by systems that reward volume more than vision.

EQUATR was created to offer artists a way through. Not by offering more features, but by offering more focus. We manage the backend, so artists can stay grounded in their work and in their message.

How EQUATR Works

We are not a mass service. EQUATR is invite-only, with a limited number of artists accepted into our system each season. However, we do accept submissions from artists whose values and vision align with ours.
