Why Fashion?

The truth? I don’t know. Ideas come as they do, unannounced, and I follow where they lead. Fashion has always intrigued me, not just in how it’s worn, but in what it allows. It gives designers a kind of freedom, a way to express what words sometimes fail to capture.

I also choose fashion because I am always looking for new ways to express myself. For the non-verbal, expression becomes even more important. That’s why I write songs, books, scripts, and why I put words on a t-shirt. It’s all the same for me. Expression.

I believe that what you wear is a reflection of how you feel, how you think, and who you are at any given moment. For me, expression isn’t always verbal. I don’t always speak in social settings, I don’t always take the opportunity to explain myself, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to say. These shirts exist because I needed them to. They reflect what’s inside, the thoughts that linger, the messages that deserve to be seen even when left unsaid.

That’s why these shirts stand out. They are made differently, because I am. They are intentional, worded with purpose, designed to say something loud without shouting.

And for the person reading this who was curious, who wasn’t sure what this all meant, maybe now you do. This isn’t about isolation. It’s not about being different just to be different. It’s about finding new ways to say what needs to be said.
